Defamation

The firm successfully represented a Defendant in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County, against allegations of defamation. Prior to trial, after the filing of a motion for summary judgment, the firm achieved a dismissal of the claim. In discovery, the firm had interviewed and deposed several witnesses who rebutted the Plaintiff’s allegations. Accordingly, the Court ruled that the record reflected no genuine issues of material fact, and the Plaintiff’s case was dismissed.
